[Elecraft] Audio DSP

        Wonder if I could have Wayne or Eric comment on the following.

        I have tried audio DSP three different times over the years and
have not been greatly impressed with the results. Was impressed with the
selectivity that could be obtained . But found that noise reduction did
not work well and that the notch added distortion to the point I
preferred to listen to the beat note. The last time I had DSP was on a KW
570 and it was next to worthless to me. I know that the K2 in many ways
is a better receiver( in my opinion) than the 570. That alone may improve
the use of an DSP unit.
        I am sorry but I would like to be more sure of another DSP unit
and would hope that these issues would have been addressed.
        By the way the 570 is gone and replaced with a second K2.

PS have used other type of notch circuits in the pass and did not
experience the distortion factor. However they of course were not
automatic.
