Elecraft do an excellent job of marking goods with the correct codes 
for them to be exempt from import duty, but it seems the chaps who 
handle the goods when they arrive in the UK don't always spot them! 
Normally items come via the Parcel Force Coventry depot and it is to 
there Harry should write, together with the reference number off 
their label, not to other Customs and Excise offices. If enough 
people do this they may eventually learn!

I was incorrectly charged duty on my K2 last year but managed to 
recover it with no problem. My latest order for a KIO2 and BFOMODKIT 
also got charged duty, but because of the relatively small amount I 
haven't persued it.

I have also emailed Harry direct with more details.
