[Elecraft] Can I avoid UK import duty on Elecraft products?

If the correct commodity code is displayed on the package (8525 2099 00 for
a transceiver and 8529 9040 00 for accessories) then no duty is payable. You
will have to pay VAT and a handling charge.

I think Elecraft are used to writing these codes on UK parcels, I had no
problem last time. It was sent by US Postal Service and then Parcel Force in
UK. I ended up paying around �20 for VAT and handling on an order of around
USD130.
