[Elecraft] DSP is audio? If so, would be disappointing.

The performance of the K2 receiver is so good, an audio only DSP would be a
welcome addition.  A DSP based radio would be a different radio from the K2,
and DSP based radios have their problems and limitations.  This DSP board
might be what will make the K2 a good SSB contesting rig for me.  I only use
the K2 only on CW contests now due to the limited notch/audio filtering
capability.

If the new DSP is audio derived, it seems to me this would be a somewhat
disappointing addition - especially for the hefty price. I LOVE the idea of
a notch filter - and hope that it would be MANUAL as well as auto.
What do others think?
