I'd like to add my two cents to this.

I understand that a lot of you fellows shave with shards of broken glass & 
are going to stick to hand keys till you die... I have no intention to 
slight you, it's an honorable philosophy.

Some of us though are interested in higher speeds.  Chicken Fat Operators 
are not above using keyboards to generate +45 WPM, and it is a fact for us 
that slow mushy keying just doesn't cut it.

I used to have am oscilloscope at KPH & I would monitor my transmitters 
everyday for keying wave form & frequency.  So long at the attack & decay 
are smooth like a letter "S" there are no clicks.  If the "S" is short, the 
keying will have a wider bandwidth, but that does not mean it is a 
click.  Look at your signal on an oscillograph and it you see no sharp 
points you are OK.

One more thing, you might want to go faster yourself someday, isn't it nice 
you have a rig that will allow you to do that?
