[Elecraft] New K2 remote control software available

Gang:

Have been using Dan's free software (see below) for the K2 rig. I cannot
say enough good about this product. What it gives you is a computer
control front end for your rig. You get a big screen full of info, and
*lots* of controls from your keyboard. I have been using it for several
months ago, with nary a hiccup. It is highly intuitive to use, and makes
the K2 an even better rig, IMHO.

I like being able to click directly on whichever CW filtre I want--no need
to cycle through to get to the filtre I actually need. Plus it is
interesting to click directly between very narrow and wide, to see quickly
the effect. You can also switch the AGC off and on from the screen. What
I particularly find useful is the type ahead buffer, which allows me to
type up to *five long lines* of text [g]. The software also offers 12
different memorised messages, very useful for contesting.

Anyway, if you have been waiting for such a program, give this one a look.
Highly recommended. Just my $.02 worth.
