Wow!  I wonder if they're all that bad!

Doing the same test with my pre-modded MP over a year ago (listening on a
TS-830S with the transmitted signal at 20 db over 9 (about 600 uV), the
clicks were still audible +/- 2.1 kHz for a 4.2 kHz bandwidth.  I thought
at the time, "it would take only 25 MPs spaced 4 kHz across the first 100
kHz of the band to make it hopeless to copy any weak signals".

If all K2s are 10 kHz wide, only 10 of them are needed to accomplish the
same dirty job!

The stock MP has been the worst "clicker" in recent years (along with
early IC-775s).  Please, someone come up with a mod to correct the K2
problem before it gets a bad name because of clicks like the MP did.

I certainly don't want to rile any adjacent stations in QSO on CW with my
clicks!
