[Elecraft] KAT2 SWR readings ?

Thanks to all for the good ideas. I am using a short piece (about 18")
of 52 ohm(decent stuff not the minature) coax to a small perf. Board
upon which I mounted 4 200 ohm  carbon 2 watt resistors in parallel.
From what you've all been writing me, the reactance is is probably
causing the problem. I will try a couple of 100 ohmers in parallel right
on the connector and see if that helps.

When all things are considered though it can't be a big problem as the
rig works FB. I made about 20 contacts on Sunday running 5-10 watts got
lot's of FB audio and 5/9 to 5/7 reports (the 5/7 was IU2R). I could
still hold my own in the pile-ups. Oh yeah! Running a Buddipole at 6
feet 8-) Truly was WB9SOG/4 Sunday!

Call me one happy K2 fanatic! ...... I got my mojo workin' and it seems
to be all right! ........ 8-)
