I have done just that (I was bored one afternoon). I've not published it in
case of offending Elecraft.
However, I think the Auxbus issue is a red herring. The arrangement that was
originally discussed was the remoting of a KAT100 over some distance. Where
I think the misunderstanding has come, is that I think the system under
discussion is communication between separated boxes via a standard KIO2 type
interface. Under this config. rs232 or just 5V serial is entirely possible.
