[Elecraft] K2 up the North

Well took a road trip for 3 days up to the Lake Cottage in Tomahawk, =
WI.....didn't work too good mobile...too much ignition noise...guess I =
have to work on that...although I did have a couple of 17 meter qso's.  =
However decided I had a piece of rg8 and some speaker wire...so stripped =
the speaker wire down the center to make 2 wires and made an inverted V =
of about 60 feet on a leg....hooked it up to the KAT100 and K2 and ran =
PSK31 through the weekend and a little SSB.  Worked great on 10,12,15,17 =
and 20 meters...tuner had no problem.  Of course I got a lot of =
compliments on the K2 but more on the speaker-wire antenna.
