[Elecraft] Help K2 info 232 Please

Greetings
I've just got to the alignment & test part 2 stage with my K2. the 4Mhz osc
is ok. the PLL range test is giving 12104.29 on the high freq and 12079.01
on the low freq. the low freq reading is varying down to 12078.97 and is
fluctuating all the time.When I try to do the VCO test I get a row of 0000s
and Info 232 message. I am getting a VCO voltage reading of 2.38 on 7.000 to
4.6 on 7.300. The BFO and filter tests seem ok. On receive, despite the
display tuning correctly, the VFO is tuning in 5khz steps. I can hear my 40m
signal from my IC706 and the display reads 6996 = 7.000, 7.000 = 7.005, 7001
= 7.010, 7.006 = 7015.
As far as I know the probe is working correctly and is connected the right
way. the info 232 message comes up regardless of whether the probe is
connected to TP 1 or not.
