[Elecraft] ssb adapter

hi i have installed the ssb adpter all tests upto page  19 have been ok 
eccept iam not able yet to do the fine carrier balance-- no other rx at 
present the problem is i only get signals in any of the op  positions moving 
either side-ie 249---001- no audio-any sugestions please tom g0lne
