Ron,

I'll touch C22 tomorrow.... I have to get my boy to the local
Community College at 6:30 a.m. to take the exam for the "Head
Start Program" - they didn't ask me if that time was OK :-(

However, going through all the schematics on the option
boards, I note that the KSB2 option has a non-tunable 4 Mhz
"ceramic resonator" labeled "Z1". If that was off by 100 hz
then that could be the culprit. If it is, then there might be
a way to "pull" it....

Tomorrow I'm going to try to feed the signal from Z1 into my
Icom 746 (mostly idle since the K2) and cross check with the
SGC-2020. - I usually take the SGC camping --- don't want to
risk the K2 just yet :-) - wait until the KAT2 goes in.....
totally portable and self contained QRP --- 'way to go!!

Have a good evening, and I'll report on my findings
tomorrow....

Haven't had so much intellectual fun with Ham Radio since my
Heathkit days :-). Although my eternal messing around with
weird antenna's comes a close second <g>
