Hi Dwight,

I apologize if there was a misunderstanding when you talked to Richard this 
morning. There clearly is a problem with your SSB filter response looking at 
your plots. Richard is not an expert in filter debugging and correctly asked 
that you contact Gary at [email protected] to debug this since Gary is our 
expert in this area.

Gary was copied in your email so he should be responding to you shortly. (I'll 
make sure he responds ASAP. :^)

My guess is that there is an incorrect component either on the SSB board in 
the filter area (wrong cap size, reversed transformer primary/secondary 
windings etc., or a wrong component in the 2nd crystal filter section that 
follows the IF AMP, U12. A wrong cap at C179, C181 or C182 certainly would 
cause a problem here, as would a cold solder joint in any of these areas. 
(I've had my fair share of these over the years.)

Please contact me directly if Gary is not able to resolve your problem. This 
is certainly one we can help you solve.
