Very good point, I had forgotten that. Another tip that
may help would be to temporarily set the CAL FIL up on
one wide bandwidth to center the BFO freq - in other words,
tune for lowest "swish." This will allow you to
hear both sidebands (I would think) and help find the zero
beat. If nothing else, you can tune to one side, tune to
the other, and then split the difference with the tweaking tool.

I didn't bother doing that -- just pressed CW RV (which switches
between USB and LSB, btw, if you start in one of those and not
CW: neat!) and estimated the position of the tweaker.

Coffee hasn't kicked in so this probably makes less sense than 
I intended....
