Ya know, that's turning up more and more over time in posts here. And I
notice that the serial numbers are not all as recent as yours. Sometimes =

takes months for a mechanical joint to become a bad connection where a =
lead
presses against the side of the unsoldered via on the circuit board.

I think about that every time I look at my 3-year old K2. Did I leave =
any
"time bombs" in there, slowly oxidizing so that suddenly one day =
something
won't work right?

Who knows? I sure don't, but it's something to keep in mind for anyone =
who
suddenly starts experiencing odd behavior or a strange failure of their =
rig
for no apparent reason.=20
