Looks like -RC is reflective. Transreflective would be 
VI-321-DP-FC-S-12, so if we could get one of those, and find
the proper backlight to wedge underneath, we'd be set!

I'll let someone else dig deeper! Maybe the -FC could be ordered with
the proper backlight. I've added discrete LEDs to each side of
mine, which works OK, but the reflective LCD is not meant to be lit.
Transreflective can be lit from behind. Having it lit is DEFINITELY
handy -- it reminds you the thing is on!
