Hi,
Yesterday I have complete readjusted all my filter settings because of the
second
xfil ssb mod. Also I adjusted my RTTY filters for PSK and other digimodes.
I setup the RTTY filters for opt1, 1khz, 600hz and 400hz.
Setup of the filter with Spectrogram was easy and the filters are looking
ok.
After that I started to finetune the BFO frequency with Spectrogram and the
7Mhz
Byrdie. I setup a Marker at 1khz and moved the Byrdie as near as possible
with the
VFO knob to that marker. Then switched to Cal Fil and finetuned the BFO so
that
the Byrdie was exactly at the marker. Starting with 400Hz and than 600Hz,
1khz
and at last the OPT1 (2,2khz). No problem, execpt the following happens:
I tuned the BFO for OPT1 so that the Byrdie is as near as possible to the
Marker.
After storing, switching the filters until OP1 filter became active again.
Than the
Byrdie is abt 20Hz higher. I know that the resolution of the BFO is limited
but
why can I move the BFO to the right point but not store this value?
Is there a limitation in the eeprom value? Or did I something wrong?
Firmware is 2.02H. K2 #2857
