[Elecraft] Stray RF With KAT100-1

I have replaced the MCU 1.03 with a new 1.04 to get the LEDs to settle down.
They are still going wild. Occasionally on voice peaks four or five LEDs
will light up. I have tuned the ATU into a 50 ohm dummy load on each band
using AUTO mode and then put the ATU into SWR(x.x-1) mode preserving the L
and C settings. I wanted to see what the KAT100-1 was really doing, so I put
my Bird 43 wattmeter between ANT 1 output on the KAT100-1 and the input of a
MFJ 901-B manual antenna tuner. The MFJ tuner was tuned to 1:1 SWR as
indicated on the K2/100 readout at 100 watts. At this point the KAT100-1
will display only the leftmost green LED. However, when I start talking (SSB
at 100 watts on 75 meters) the KAT100-1 LEDs start lighting up. I never know
how many will light up from transmission to transmission. All the while the
Bird wattmeter needle is steady at zero in reverse SWR. I thought MCU v.1.04
was supposed to take more SWR samples to eliminate the stray RF pickup. Any
thoughts on this? Roy Morris W4WFB KAT100-1, K2/100 #2225
