Interestng ideas, Andy. I hadn't thought of any like these.
I am enjoying the wide ranging comments coming out of
the posts and think it is a good healthy indicator. I am saving
off all these as amunition for discussion with the 'committee'
for any tweaks we may want to make.

I'd like to see EQP twice a year; perhaps CW and SSB sessions or
Summer and Winter sessions. 

But, as you point out, EQP represents a lot of work for the organizers
and it is all volunteer time and labor. For me, its a labor of love and,
as I am retired, I have time and interest to commit to it. Others are
still 
in their earning years and so their commitment is even more highly
valued.

So many ops have written expressions of thanks in recognition of these
efforts; they are very much appreciated and are the fuel for our
continued
strivings toward a better EQP.
