I use the hand held Heil MH2 when operating portable, but prefer a desk or
headset mike when operating from home. I have been using with good reports
a number of Heil mikes - goldline, pro-set etc. To enable this I installed
the 5.6K resistor for the MH2 in the mike's connector rather than on the
K2's mike header. This allows the connection of the other Heil mikes using
"Kenwood" connector wiring and the K2's mike header wired "straight-across".
