That would have been pretty neat! BTW I did hear Nao JA6PA on 15, but
didn't make it his way this time. Did anyone work him? He's usually got
a very nice signal into Southern CA. I've even worked him using the MP-1
on 10 on the YL's 1st floor balcony in Long Beach at 5 watts. Don't know
if he was in the contest or just looking for a QSO, but thought I heard
him calling a couple of guys on 15.
Think I'll be putting a K2 together before too long. Would have been
nice to drop down on 80 meters and see what was happening. Would also
like 10 meters as well. Did anyone have any luck with 10 yesterday? 15
seemd to be in good shape and I got 22 QSO's on 15. 17 qso's on 20 and
31 on 40. Probably could have done better on 40 except that the local
noise was bad last night. Sure did have a good time listening to all the
signals on the bands!
