One of the problems of the current AGC control is that you don't know 
just by looking which AGC mode you're in. 

Think what would happen if you thought you were in FAST mode wanting to 
go to SLOW, and you hit the button once, only to lose all AGC and be 
blasted completely out of your chair.

I find the K2 AGC so good that I rarely have an occassion to turn it off. 
(Especially after I re-adjusted the Control Board R1 to be 30K -- my 
quescient AGC voltage was a teeny bit high, in part due to my 8V supply 
being a bit high (8.2, if I remember))
