Which was exactly the point made by the editor of RadCom when he
composed the front cover of the March issue. "Elecraft K2 'Top of the
Range' Tranceiver Kit" in large lettering right over the picture of
my own K2. Yes, that is the attraction of the K2.
And if you read my review you will see that there are no less than 4
K2 owners in the Bracknell club alone (but no K1s..). I think
'several K2's' is somewhat of an understatement. 100-200 may be a
better approximation.
I have worked several K2s owned by UK amateurs (but don't keep a
record myself). I only operate on CW though so Paul may have missed
me.
