[Elecraft] keyer operator problem

Hi,

Curious just for QSO starters...

I got used to having the electronic keyer give me my dits and dahs by
just touching the paddles.  I was at a friend's house and all he had was
a straight keyer.  I put my hand on the straight key and expected the
same out of it, but to my unexpected surprise I got a "dit dit dit dit   
dit dit dit    dit dit dit dit " instead of " dahdidahdah didahdit
didahdidit ".  If this just went over your head: I got a "HSH" instead of
"QRL".  I finally laughed at my mistake.  My first PTT-shorter for CW was
a Straight key.  There are some paddles, used for CW, I don't like.
