The date is obviously correct from the info that was sent in the 
email, but the formatting for Australia is wrong. This tells me that 
the programmer wrote his own code to display the date instead of 
using the system routines which format date (and time for that 
matter) for the user's system preferences. Having _just_ gone through 
this exact same effort on MacOS X/Unix, you guys have done me a great 
favor by telling me that I need to correct this same issue in my own 
software. Of course, if I am the only one to ever use the software, 
then it really doesn't matter, right?

So, this is one that the original software author should probably 
take a look at, to use the system functions to display the date. 
Sounds like a learning challenge to me.
