In the process of trying to take this measurement, I seem to have accidentally
shorted the center and 12V pins of U8, and instantly the LEDs that were on went
blank. Ack! What did I fry? I didn't blow the 1A fuse in the power cable...
Also, trying to figure things out, I checked the voltage at the power cable
(12.4 VDC) and at J1 (where it seems to read 4.0 VDC.) Does that seem right?
