[Elecraft] K1 #1534 Going Great

Hi folks, just a quick note to say how satisfied I am with the K1. It's my
first rig and I love it. So easy to use. I am on 40m late evening normally
and often the noise is very bad, but with zero beating the station against
the sidetone and using the F3 filter the hash just disappears no noise and
all signal.

Have been on 40m almost every night since I got on the air (for the last 2
weeks) and never yet failed to have at least one QSO running 5W into dipole
at 30 feet with FB reports.

I am more than satisfied with the K1 it has surpassed all expectations.
Look out for me around 7.030 for a slow CW QSO (15WPM with gaps please!)

BTW The linear power supply that I made for the K1  is fine (12V, 1.5A
regulated) if anyone wants the details just let me know.
