Being builders I thought it wouldn't hurt to post this here, hope that it's
ok.
I need to thin the herd on my test bench and it pains me to sell this but I
need the cash and the room....
I have an " as new" ... I took it out of the plastic wrapper myself...
Tektronix TM-515 test equipment power frame. Complete with both covers
(front and rear) and the tilt bail. This is the great Tek travel frame so
you can safely transport and store the installed gear. Maybe a small scratch
or two but I can't remember exactly where it is. These frames sold for
$700+ new and Tucker has them well used for $350.
In the frame are the following plug-ins, most of these were $500 to $1000 +
each when new:
DM501A - 4.5 digit DMM AC/DC/Current/dB/temperature with the temperature
probe and a Fluke RF probe; last certified calibration by my local metcal
lab (Fox Valley Metrology) in 2000/01- works perfectly and looks great. VERY
nice and accurate... it's one of the only meters I've owned that reads my 10
Ohm lab standard exactly at the correct 10.13 Ohms....
PS503A - Triple power supply - Dual 20vdc 500 ma power supply with a static
5 vdc supply as well. Variable current and voltage for each supply. Works
perfect and looks great. Checked by metcal in 2000/01. $400 alone now at
Tucker !
DC504 - Frequency counter/timer 0.1 Hz to at least 80 MHz, 1 us to 999.99 s.
Works perfect. One nick out of trim piece not really visable when in frame.
Checked by metcal in 2001
FG503 Function Generator - low distortion sine, square and triangle
waveforms. Six decade freq. multiplier steps, 1 Hz to 3 MHz. Can be swept
1000:1 with external voltage applied. Calibrated by metcal lab in 2001/02.
I think I have factory manuals for the TM515, DM501A and PS503A.... copies
or parts of the manuals on the others as well.
This is a BEAUTIFUL bench set-up with about anything most of us could
use.... and it's not crap but top line equipment. I'd like to see someone
looking for nice gear buy it... or it's split up and off to eBay I'm afraid.
I won't be giving this stuff away... too nice... I'm asking $500 plus
shipping... and anyone who knows anything about this gear will tell you that
it's a good deal. ... first one to say they for sure want it gets it...
