i got it now.  i wasnt talking like the manual said.  everything appears =
to work, the vox works and the rf to alc and the leds come from both =
sides.  when i talk in the mic i got 1.5 to 2.0amps depending on loud i =
was whispering, wifes asleep and its 3am wow i need to get to bed.  dont =
have a good antenna here so will have to wait till tommorow to make sure =
i still recieve cw as good and that the op1 filters sound good.  =
although im a lil confused with all the new buttons i have.  is it =
better to use the rf leds or the alc leds?  i read the manual and it =
looks like alc i wont have to mess with the gain its all done for me.  =
also if i wanna later use a heil boom mic( you know the proffesional =
studio looking mic on the neat lil boom arm in the catalog)will i have =
to remove that resistor i put across pins 1 and 6 for my elecraft hiel =
mic?  can i put this in the actual mike that way i could use both, lil =
clarification please from someone way wiser than me. =20
