[Elecraft] KDSP2 - strange problem

Well, its probably not the KDSP2's fault, but
since installing it I've encountered a problem
that I hadn't seen before. I have a KPA100/
KAT100 mounted in a separate EC-2 enclosure.
If I load into an antenna with an SWR in excess
of 3 or 4:1 the fan on the KPA comes on and the
KDSP2 comes up as "not inst". Powering down
and back up restores every thing to normal. 

This must be some sort of RFI problem, but just
what is being affected isn't clear. Would the new
KPA 100 shielding be a solution? Since the KPA
is in its own enclosure I wouldn't think so but who
knows?

Any suggestions appreciated.
