[Elecraft] Murphy and his ugly head

Well, Murphy's law must be an absolute!  I was getting ready for FD and was
checking  out K2/100 Twins #3232 this AM. I powered her up and TOTAL
LOCKOUT! I could not get any buttons to work and the VFO was completely
locked out.  I powered on and off several times and no luck. I finally
powered down and disconnected the cable which connects the K2 to the
KPA100/KAT100 combo, powered down the K2 and unplugged the mains to the PA
and tuner;  it was only after I did this was I able to achieve normal
operation on the K2.  The rig did lock up one more time on me after that,
but the same sequence of manuevers restored normalcy.

I believe this may be a problem with the communication between the
K2/KPA100/KAT100. The problem may lie in the AUX BUS communications as I had
another comms problem when Ifirst installed the KDSP2 in my rig. Just
wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or if there is
something else which I could look for to explain this problem.

As always, just when you really need your gear (FD) something like this
happens!!  Any and all comments are VERY welcome!
