If any elecraft enthusiasts would like to chat in real time they can go to
the main page of the Elecraft website and click on the hyperlink Elecraft
IRC and follow the information provided. This is NOT endorsed by Elecraft
but a big thanks to Eric for the posting. Please do not abuse it. The system
ops for the channel are Pieter-G0BSX and Bob-W2SR. Both are very
knowledgeable when it comes to Internet Relay Chat information and if there
are any questions please do not hesitate to ask them but be mindful they are
not there 24/7.

The Elecraft IRC has had quite a few check ins. But many log in and seeing
no activity leave. Stay awhile before you logoff the channel. This channel
could be utilized for setting up real time skeds, elecrafters calling cq on
a certain frequency using a watt or a milliwatt trying to set a personal
record, adjusting the ssb audio to achieve the best "slicing through the
qrm" etc.

Am i trying to sell this? You bet I am. This is a great avenue for all of us
to explore.

I will be going on vacation to Topsail Island this Sunday and will return
the following Sunday. In the meantime, my k2 with the solar panel and my
buddipole will be with me on the beach. In the evenings i will be calling cq
on 7040.00 at 0100Z to 0130Z  Wednesday and Friday. Sorry, Topsail Island is
no IOTA but a beach scene QSL printed by LZ1JZ-TONY will be available by
sase. Topsail Island is located south of the Outer Banks of North Carolina,
and 30 miles North of Wilmington,NC.
