[Elecraft] OT: Sloper Dipole Question

Well Gents....let me tell ya....

I just took my now infamous sloper out to the Park across from my house, s=
trung
it in a tree (center-fed end down) and got 5/9 report from Marin County, C=
A
(I'm in Sacramento) and 4/8 report from Salt Lake City on 40M with 10 watt=
s.

I think I'm leaning toward the "it doesn't matter" camp.

Thanks again guys for the discussion and comments.

Chuck

Note Len Koppl's stunning brilliance and Chuck's apt reply (gack!)
