[Elecraft] TRANSVERTER QUESTION

Hi David,

Yes, the XV transverter will work with the Kenwood radio. The XV
transverters are designed to work with any radio that can supply a 28 MHz
output of less than 9 watts and that has some sort of keying signal to key a
PA or Transverter. Many transceivers, and I believe your TS2000 is one of
them, also provide a low-level interface that is intended for use with
external transverters. I believe you will find this described in your
manual.

The transverter is simply a linear frequency translator, so whatever
modulation is present on the drive signal will be faithfully reproduced at
the transverter output.

73,
Bob, N6CM
