[Elecraft] K1 and Palm Paddle

One of the advantages of the Palm Paddle is that you can purchase extra =
bases and use different mounting systems for different rigs.  One can be =
glued or screwed to a wood or tile type base. I bolted one to a 1/8" X =
1" length of alum. bar stock available at hardware stores.  I put a =
rubber foot on the front and a hole in the back.  This is screwed to the =
crosspiece of my K1 bracket.  The bracket came with a threaded hole and =
a spare thumbscrew.  The paddle snaps into the bracket. This works very =
well for me on portable operations, which is the only time that I use =
paddles.  At home QTH, I prefer a very heavy hand key or a bug.  There =
