One of the advantages of the Palm Paddle is that you can purchase extra =
bases and use different mounting systems for different rigs. One can be =
glued or screwed to a wood or tile type base. I bolted one to a 1/8" X =
1" length of alum. bar stock available at hardware stores. I put a =
rubber foot on the front and a hole in the back. This is screwed to the =
crosspiece of my K1 bracket. The bracket came with a threaded hole and =
a spare thumbscrew. The paddle snaps into the bracket. This works very =
well for me on portable operations, which is the only time that I use =
paddles. At home QTH, I prefer a very heavy hand key or a bug. There =
are several photos of mounting Palm Paddles on thier website, which can =
be accessed at the Morse Express website. 73 Rick K7MW
