The email bulletin I received from the ARRL was very clear:  the new 
FCC regulation requires that all 60M contacts must be logged with the 
antenna model if commercial, gain relative to a dipole if not.

So, if you bought the manufactured Buddipole you only need enter it's 
name in your logbook.  Otherwise you're going to have to come up with 
the gain somehow even if less than a dipole.
