Hi John,

A number of people have asked about how the Elecraft XV transverter receive
noise figure compares with that offered by other transverters.  The XV noise
figure is less than 1 dB.  According to information found on the DEM website
their noise figure is also specified as less than 1dB.  The TenTec website lists
the noise figure of their model 1210 transverter at 7 dB.

Within a couple of weeks we'll be posting an early version of the XV Series
manaul. The schematic is included, and this will answer all of your questions
about components.
