sloping toward real earth, and not in arbitrary space.

One end will be lower impedance to earth because of its closer distance, and
the current distribution will change from the classic dipole.  This in some
poor earth areas may make little difference, but do not generalize that
there is no difference.  The sloper is well known to tilt the pattern
favoring the direction of the lower leg with its higher current than the
upper leg.  (lower impedance will result in higher current).
