John,
Some controllers produce RF noise -- you wouldn't want it anywhere near 
your K2!  While the spec sheet on this controller is not clear, please 
test first before mounting it near your K2.

There have been several "RF hash noise free" designs mentioned in the 
past.  I own a Micro M+ from:

which is one example.  Don Brown ([email protected]) who frequents this 
list also produces an RFI free charge controller kit.

Just received my solar panel with the controller. The controller is a
Morningstar SunGuard 4 put out by Connecticut Solar. Can anyone give me
recommendations of wether i can mount this inside the k2 or should it be
kept external to the k2?
