I just want to let you know about ring solders.

Ring solders are tiny ring shaped solders.

These solders are especially useful when you solder IC sockets or =
multi-pin connectors.  You just insert the ring solder onto IC/connector =
pin, then one hand holds the part and the other hand holds the soldering =
iron.  You don=1B$B!G=1B(Bt need to have yet another hand to hold the =
solder!
