Page 7, Item 160 Power Output Fluctuates, Third point.


"If you have seen a slow (10 - 20 Hz) oscillation superimposed on the
transmitters output signal, it could be due to ALC modulation.

Increase the value of R98 (RF board) to the largest size that permits
full output on 10 m."

Notice the "to the largest size that permits full output on 10 m" part.
(This is different from the app note that says to use a 1K max)

I would up using 2.15k (2.2k that measured 2.15k) for R98.


I would do this only if needed.
