[Elecraft] K1 on 160M

I managed to put my K1 (#1152) on 160 meters using a 2 band filter board
shared with components from Elecraft for 80. From what I can tell it seems
to be working well. Power out is around 7 watts max. I don't have a
spectrum analyzer (wish I did) but using my Icom the harmonic suppression
seems to be about the same as the other bands. I only found a couple of
other very weak spurious signals which didn't move the S meter at all. I
had looked through the archives for postings from others who had already
tried to do this but couldn't come up with anything so I figured I'd post
what I did for others who may be interested.

I set up the 160 M components as band 1 on the 2 band filter board. For X1
I picked up a 6.8 MHz crystal from International Crystal Manufacturing. L1
and L2, the variable inductors, are the same 1 micro henry inductors that
Elecraft supplies for the other bands. The following are the other
components I used for the bandpass and the low pass filters. All caps are
NPO. The 12 pf is a disc ceramic. The others are all monolithic ceramic.

Premix Bandpass
C1 & C5: 680 pf
C2 & C4: 2700 pf
C3: 12 pf

RF Bandpass
C11 & C15: 18,000 pf
C12 & C14: 12,200 pf (10,000 and 2200 paralleled)
C13: 330 pf

Low Pass Filter:
C21 & C23: 2200 pf
C22: 4700 pf
L9 & L10: 3.84 micro henries (31 turns on a T37-2 red core)

Now for some thought about trying to set up a more adequate antenna for 160.

If anyone would like any more info about this, let me know.
