[Elecraft] RE: K2 PLL reference oscillator test failure (Resolution summary)

Prior to Memorial Day, I posted a request for help with a K2 that showed
rapidly fluctuating frequencies at the very beginning of the "4 MHz
Oscillator Calibration" steps on Pg 57.

My problem - undetected cold solder joints - was resolved with the help of
Richard at Elecraft support.

For those experiencing this problem, focus on the following components on
the RF board:

Top side:
	TP3, R22, C87, C86, X1, D17, D12, D16, Q19, C85, C84, R21, R22,
	RP2 and RFC14 (toroid coil).
Bottom Side:
	D18, L31, RFC15 & C91.

Kudos to Ken Wagner and Don Wilheim, as well, who e-mailed suggestions on
how to zero-in on the source of the problem.
