[Elecraft] K1 Unsoldered Connectors

Hello Elecrafters,
    I was just finishing up the front panel of my K1 and noticed
unsoldered connectors.  I looked at pictures on the web and so far I have
not found a picture showing these connectors soldered.
    I am using the Revision F Manual.  Page 19 step 7 on the right (last    
step).  It says 'Do not use excessive heat when soldering.'  That's it. 
These are the two 10-k potentiometers R2 and R3.  I soldered the 3 leads
on each one.  I did not solder the 2 clips on each that hold them to the
board.  Should I?
