Good quality coax, can be shorter runs of quarter inch RG 58, if it has 95
per cent or greater shield coverage, and is limber and flexible which
indicates the poly is in good condition, and not dried out and cracked
internal around the central conductor.

Beware that military type coax is not the same as "meeting mil spec xxxxx".
Otherwise for QRP, and say up to 60 or so feet RG 58 is better as lower
weight feeder than the 218 types.  The losses go up with frequency, so 10m
is more of a concern than 40m
