I use Aircell 7 a lot, from MF to 70 cm. It's better than RG58 but still
less heavy than RG213, it also is much easier to handle. There are very good
connectors available for Aircell 7, perhaps not the cheapest ones around but
then the connector is as important as the line itself (imho).

PS "mil spec"could mean a higher density of the woven shield, better quality
foam/filling and a heavier centre conductor. Be aware that "mil spec" is as
good as the manufacturer. As the saying goes: "mil spec ?"  for which army ?
