Well troops, I "saved" P1.

1. With fingernails, worked the plastic off the pins from one end to the
other and back again. Took a few minutes, but came off clean and in one
piece.
2. Removed pins one at a time.
3. Inserted pins back into the plastic.
4. Cleaned out the holes with a piece of electrolitic cap lead heated with
iron.
5. Reinstalled P1 ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BOARD!
