Hello to all and apologies if this is to long.

I'd like to chime in here at this point and express my gratitude. My kit
building success is based
on the shoulders of you, the list members. I absorbed and took into
heart the trials of those
who posted, learned from those who asked and those who answered. Hats
off to all..

Through your posting I purchase the temp control iron, flushed side
cutters, magnifier, brillo
wire spongy thing to clean the tip of the iron, was encourage to try
winding the torroids,
how to tin the wire, how to check the work, how to inventory, how to
take my time,
check the work again, how to align filters with Spectrogram, cover the
beauty after
it's finished, how to cradle it in the field, how to improve the knob..

So here are some pictures that I have taken. Not as many as others nor
of their quality, but
perhaps if it may help someone then I feel I have contributed something.

Unpacking and sorting things out, purchase tools and small part boxes
from Wal-Mart.

Inventory parts in one of the parts boxes.

Using a discarded pencil iron with the tip removes as a solder pot.
