I went to www.kiesub.com <www.kiesub.com>  they have the Hakko 936-12 for
sale at $89.95. It is temp controlled, has ESD protection, heats up in 30
secs from cold, and they have about a gazillion tips available.

I bought one with my K2 kit and I have been very satisfied.

Usual disclaimers... I have no monetary interests in Hakko, or Kiesub.

The weller is also good, but more expensive.

Also, Kiesub has very good service (at least my experiences were positive)
